"The American Olympic team uniforms were made in China. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took an understated, statesmanlike approach to this news. He said, quote, 'they should take all the uniforms, put them in a big pile, and burn them,' unquote. The problem is in America we don't make clothes anymore, at least not in factories. If you wanted American-made garments, the Olympic committee's only option would be to go to Etsy.com. And dress all the athletes in red, white and blue macramé shrugs."
